Activities to-date include energy procurement whereby GVP evaluated the New York store locations electricity usage which totaled 5.2 million annual kilowatt hours and negotiated a 2-year fixed contract at a significant rate savings; a renegotiation of the retailer's bank depository charges with their financial institutions that resulted in savings in excess of 15%; and are in the process of implementing a Work Opportunity Tax Credit Program that will provide federal tax incentives for eligible new hires of up to $2,400/employee.
